Camping
The 90-acre site of the Eaglewood Resort & Nature Park consists of numerous trails, ponds and clearings in the woods. Group camping areas accommodate approximately 400 campers.
Camping is available at a cost of $12.00 (Canadian) per person per night and must be purchased at the gate. Children under 12 and attendants are free.
Campsites are classed as ‘group sites’ so there are many campers in one area. For that reason, it is recommended that you arrive early if you have a large group that wishes to camp together. Of course, even if your group can’t all be accommodated in one campsite, that isn’t really a bad thing. After all, Eaglewood is all about hearing great music and meeting new friends.
Campsite ‘E’ is the furthest away from civilization and therefore the ‘noise’ doesn’t seem to bother the neighbours. This has been a preferred camping spot for many regulars who enjoy ‘after-hours’ sing-song around the campfire and are willing to trade the pleasure of sleep for the camaraderie and music that happens here. But, campfires and shared music are commonplace throughout the Eaglewood site (day and night) and you will find that most campers are very respectful. If you require a regular amount of rem-time each night it is advised that you choose a quieter location, one that you can retire to when sleep beckons.
There is potable water available and outhouses in each group camping area, but no electricity or flush toilets. There are no sewage or electrical hook-ups for mobile units.
The kids will enjoy the playground, pony rides, assortment of petting farm animals and swimming pond with floating raft and row boat.
