EAGLEWOOD FOLK FESTIVAL PRESENTS
Another Big Night Out
Saturday, May 12
Wilfrid Hall
7:30 p.m.
The flowers are blooming. You survived the winter. You owe yourself A Big Night Out. Saturday, May 12, 7:30 p.m. the Eaglewood Folk Festival presents three excellent local musicians in concert. It's another Big Night Out in the intimate setting of the Wilfrid Community Hall in Wilfrid, just east of Pefferlaw.
On stage will be:
Alyssa Wright, hot cellist, big singer and bold songwriter from Cannington. Alyssa's brand new recording "Dark Waters" captures her unique, dynamic style. You'll want a copy after seeing her show.
You all know Magoo as one of Canada's most loveable and talented children's performers. After dark he has another side. He's a singer of great songs, a multi-instrumentalist and a spinner of yarns who can bring a tear or a belly laugh from the most taciturn of listeners. He'll be on stage Saturday, May 12.
Chris Gauthier was the talk of the town following an earlier solo performance at A Big Night Out. He has pure, clear voice, writes vibrant, youthful songs and has a confident guitar style that combines to grab your attention. He's back in Wilfrid with all of that and his full band on May 12.
As always, while at the Big Night Out you will be tempted by multiple offerings from the International Kitchen and free beverages from the Rainforest Juice Bar. Spend some time browsing the display of Stuart Blower's fabulous poster size photographs of last year's Festival.
Admission to A Big Night Out is $15,
half price for seniors and students.
All proceeds support the Eaglewood Folk Festival.
The Big Night Out is produced and performed by volunteers.
The 18th annual Eaglewood Folk Festival takes place August 24, 25, & 26 at the Eaglewood Resort in Pefferlaw. Earlybird weekend passes go on sale in June.
Get your tickets early for big savings.
Tickets will be widely available at local retailers or by phone at 1-800-437-1567
