We love pets as much as anyone else but we are unable to accomodate them at our Festival. We ask that you kindly abide by this rule for the sake of all the other campers and festival patrons. |
CAMPINGThe Eaglewood resort contains a large wooded area with several group camping sections set aside. Camping is available at a cost of $10.00 (Canadian) per person per night. Children under 12 and attendants are free For information on camping during the Festival call our direct line 1-800-437-1567 For any other time through the summer or for limitations (i.e. camper trucks and mobile units) Contact Marilyn Oldfield at eaglewd@ils.net The campsites are classed as 'group sites' so there will be many campers in one spot. For that reason, it is recomended that you arrive early if you have a large group that wishes to camp together. Of course, even if your group can't all be accomodated in one campsite, that isn't really a bad thing. After all, Eaglewood is all about hearing great music and meeting new friends. Campsite 'E' has traditionally been
the one for the 'after-hours' sing-song around the campfire.
It's the furthest away from civilization and therefore the
'noise' doesn't seem to bother the neighbours. This has
been a preferred camping spot for many regulars who are
willing to trade the pleasure of sleep for the camaraderie
and music that happens here. If you require a regular amount
of rem-time each night it is advised that you choose a quieter
location, one that you can retire to when sleep beckons. There is running potable water piped back to the sites, and outhouses in each one, but no electricity or flush toilets. Ability Camping In step with our on-going plan to provide full access to the Festival, Eaglewood Earth Festival Inc. has purchased 2 large tents suitable for wheelchair access. These tents will be made available on a first come first served basis. For more information, please call 1-800-437-1567
